My first experience of DLA Piper was meeting one of the firm's representatives at a careers fair. It was clear from speaking to them that the firm placed great emphasis on the recruitment of its trainees and their development.
The level of responsibility I was given as a trainee was very high. This allowed me to gain invaluable hands-on experience that is often not available at other firms.
During my training I enjoyed excellent levels of support. People were always willing to make time for me. Now an Associate, I always offer the same support to our current trainees.
The work carried out by the Birmingham office is high calibre. The quality of the lawyers and the client base is impressive, as it is across every office. Birmingham is thriving and is a thoroughly rewarding place to work.
